This delightful sampler says it perfectly – all the world needs to "Live In Harmony". It is stitched on 30 Count cream linen over two threads using DMC floss. Wouldn't it be wonderful stitched using over-dyes or silks? The charming little pre-finished "Pin Poke" was designed by me. It comes in several colors, but we selected thetan check for this design. Refer to Pin Pokes I in the last Proclamation to see the navy check Pin Poke. The linen in the Pin Poke is 26/27 count. I did the Continental stitch over one thread, using two plies. The Continental stitch is half a cross stitch, sothis is a quick stitch. Both of these projects were coffee dyed and instructions are given for how to dye.
