I am very proud of my interpretation of an antique sewing stand in my collection. The stand comes with three tiny thread spools to be filled by your beautiful threads (silk would be wonderful). All you do is stitch your little pin cushion and glue it to the top of the pedestal. Add a few antique hat pins. If you don't have any, it will give you an excuse to go "antiquing". The pin cushions are all stitched on 32 Count "Wheat" over-dyed linen, by R & R Reproductions, using a combination of Belle Soie silk by Crescent Colours and DMC floss.
